All HP PCs should have the HP Support Assistant installed to help with computer maintenance, software upgrades, troubleshooting issues, and a variety of other tasks. HP advises against uninstalling HP Support Assistant. If you wish to delete HP Support Assistant because it opens automatically and interrupts other computer processes, a better option is to prevent it from opening automatically or change the time it performs tasks (refer to HP Support Assistant interrupts games, movies, or TV). If you still wish to uninstall HP Support Assistant or if you need to uninstall it for troubleshooting purposes. Download and install the most recent version of HP Support Assistant.
